Shmaltz Brewing Co. of Clifton Park, New York is going to release a new recipe for their SHE’BREW beer in honor of International Women’s Collaboration Brew Day. The release is inspired in part by the upcoming 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage in New York, and coincides with the breweries 21st birthday, which used to be the voting age.

Historical Beer

The state of Alabama is about to turn 200 years old, and the Alabama Brewers Guild knows just how to celebrate. They’ve been releasing one historically inspired beer per year, each created in collaboration with the Bicentennial Commission, honoring the state’s five capital cities. This year’s brew is called Mulberry Road and will benefit the related historical site.

After officially locking down distribution to the last three of the 50 states this year, New Belgium Brewing will finally be distributed nationwide. Vermont, Maine and New Hampshire are the last three states to join the club, and will soon have access to a variety of New Belgium brews.
