With the Super Bowl just around the culture, the Hop Culture team started thinking. What’s the best beer near every NFL stadium? And once we got that covered, what beer-inspired recipes could we make for our friends?

Okay, in actuality, we’re cooking for our plants and cats. But the question remained. And that’s when we came up with this tasty recipe for Beer Bacon Cheese Dip.

It’s yummy and comforting. It’s exactly what you want to eat while watching a bunch of grown men pound each other into a pulp. And the best part? It’s damn simple, using only a loaf of bread, two types of cheese, bacon, and beer. That simplicity is important because we’re guessing you’re not trying this recipe sober.

We should note that although we chose an IPA, you can use any style of beer in this recipe. We don’t recommend sour beer, but hey — it’s your dip.
