It’s World Press Freedom Day, So We Launched a Patreon

On World Press Freedom Day, keep Hop Culture independent.

At Hop Culture, we cover craft beer. We shoot photography and publish articles about the people, culture, and product that makes the industry so amazing.

Since our launch in 2017, we’ve expanded our business to include festivals and we’ve also launched a line of apparel and glassware. We’re a small team and we’re proud of our work. But our journalism is still a labor of love. Rather than take on a big sponsor, we’ve remained independent. We pay our writers, brewery partners, and staff from the profits on other parts of our business.

On World Press Freedom Day, we’re asking for your support. If you’ve enjoyed any of our content, either in real life or on social media, we’d appreciate your help. A Patreon donation is by no means a requirement to read Hop Culture, but it will help the magazine continue to grow independently.

As our way of saying thank you, Patreon subscribers at any level will have first access to Hop Culture festivals, merchandise, and discounts. In the future, we’d like to create more tiers for patronage.

Thank you for your consideration and I hope to meet over a beer!

Yours truly,
Kenny Gould, Founder, Hop Culture
