Guinness Brewery in the US
World famous Irish brewery, Guinness, finally decided to build a brewery in the United States. The brewery will be situated in Relay, Maryland, and will create beers created solely for the US market.
Hemp-Seed Beer
Sleeping Giant Brewing Co. of Denver, Colorado is teaming up with Major Hemp of Colorado Springs, Colorado to release a new beer made with hemp-seed powder this month. Distribution will start in Denver and may eventually become more widespread. The beer will be named Major Hemp Brown Ale and each bottle will contain about 100 milligrams of hemp.
Golden Mocha Stout
Stony Creek Brewery of Branford, Connecticut just released a new beer infused with coffee and cacao nibs. Stony Joe Golden Mocha stout is the brewery’s first breakfast beer.
Budweiser Immigration Commercial
Anheuser-Busch just dipped their toe into the stormy waters surrounding the recent immigration controversies by releasing a new Budweiser commercial highlighting the immigration of its company’s co-founder Adolphus Busch to America from Germany. The commercial is titled “Born the Hard Way” and will air during the Super Bowl this Sunday.
Spicy Stout
Braven Brewing Company of Brooklyn, New York released today a 7.5 percent ABV habanero, orange, and chocolate stout. They named the beer Las Tumbas, which means “The Tombs.” This beer will be available available on draft only in New York City, Long Island, and Westchester.
